"Malicious Script" warnings

This is a known and documented issue with Norton AntiVirus 2000, 2001 and 2002. Newer Norton products no longer display this warning any time a script touches your filesystem. I assure you that none of my scripts are malicious.

The text is hard to see

While creating this site I played around with lots of different formatting possibilities, and I decided that I wanted something very sleek and low-key. Some of the grey tones I used are not originally designed for use on the Web.

However, I tested this site on several different operating systems using several different browsers and while the "absolute" colors may not show every time they do render very closely.

If you can't see this site very well then one of these things is your issue:

- Old browser version. Upgrade your browser.
- Weak/incorrect brightness/contrast settings on your video card and/or monitor. Adjust these items as needed.

Can you write some free software for me?

The short answer is probably not. The long answer is that I code/script simply as a hobby for the most part. Sometimes I am paid for coding via my employment and consulting, but even then I generally do it to make my own life easier (by filling a niche need). I don't ever want to code for a living.

I also have a tendency to skip around to different languages and different platforms as I determine I have new needs, or even just out of curiosity sometimes. This means that it may be months before I work my way back around to the language and platform you want an app for.

However, feel free to |Contact Me| regarding what you'd like to see me write, and I just may do it for you someday.

CGI parsing problems

Depending on which operating system and webserver you run you may need to adjust the end of some lines in the script. Open the script in your favorite editor and delete any trailing spaces at the end of any line that do not belong there (such as ^M).
